The hip-hop dance company Hors Série will present its show at the Michel-Manet Cultural Center in Bergerac this Wednesday, May 7, at 8:30 p.m. Choreographer Hamid Ben Mahi will encourage the audience to reflect on a major social issue: the brutality of our patriarchal system.

What do women experience in our societies? What situations do they go through? What challenges do they encounter? All these questions lead choreographer Hamid Ben Mahi to reflect on the brutality of our patriarchal system. A striking choreographic piece that highlights women's words. Here is 'Royaume' by the Hors Série company, which will be performed this Wednesday, May 7 at the Michel-Manet cultural center in Bergerac.

"Kingdom," a piece for six female performers, blends text and dance to serve as a "voice" for women's stories. A striking hip-hop choreography in which the dancers' intimate and sincere outbursts of voice express the universal while their gestures invite poetry. The aim here is to highlight women's words to lead us to a shared reflection on a major social issue.
